The film tries to tell Mahabharath in 4 to 5 hrs.I would say this is a good attempt,the director has clearly avoided the big efforts for settings , especially in the battle scenes, the palaces etc;But Mahabharath is so vast and the characters are so powerful, it is impossible to pack it.(Is that why important characters like Vidura is not there!)The characters always tries to outwit each other in depth. Every character is as real as in life and have its own pages of stories for its existence itself.For those who know lot of Mahabharath(does anyone knows it completely? or can anyone know?) it is a refresher,the 10 minute revision before an exam.For those who dont know it can be a starter.

Went TO THE mOST BEAUTIFUL CITY IN bELGIUM _ bRUGES tHE DAY WE WENT IT WAS SNOWING ALSO. ITS A GREAT CITY BUT DID NOT SPEND MUCH TIME; NEED TO GO AGAIN sAW MICHALENGELOS WORK , MADONNNA AND CHILD INSIDE A CHURCH. THE CHURCH IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHURCH I HAVE EVR SEEN.WENT FOR A CANL RIDE IN A SMALL BOAT, WELL ORGANISED TRIP WITH GOOD COMMENTARY.VERY SMALL BRIDGES. WHEN WE GO UNDER THEM WE ARE SUPPOSED TO SIT OR ELSE OUR HEAD WILL GO. How to go - From Brussels Central take train which goes to oostende, after midi,gent st.pieters the next stop is brugges- takes 1 hr, from the station walked outside for 10 min to the information center, where they guided us

Snow Fall Yesterday there was heavy snow fall, experienced the first snow of my life, good, the view from my balcony, i ccan see the tiles of all roofs covered with snow-pleasant sight. Auto Museum To day, visited the auto museum in Merode- great place, goo and must visit for auto enthus; Lots of varieties of cars, from rolls royce , ford, chrysler, benz , Belgian Royal familys cars etc. etc, From very old 1850 to latest .

Lead India

The Lead India Contest ended in good note. R.K.Misra won the contest. The profile of people who particiapted and judged is quite good. Even though my favourite contender Sanjiv Kaura could not make to the finalist nevertheless the contest is excellent. Ofcourse Sanjiv Kaura and Depayen Dey got some awards, it was also good to see all the 8 finalist notably Saumya Misra( who could not take part because of duty). A Good Contest, should Continue. Times Of India should be thanked for bringing this.

Lead India Contest.

The Lead Inida Contest by Times of India is unique initiative and very good.It provides new platform for leaders to showcase there qualities and move forward.The judges are very good-Kiran Bedi,Javed Aktar,Vikas Singh senior editor,TOI.The program is well conducted and neatly organised.The contestants are very good.It started with 32682 and today it is between 4 of them Sanjiv Kaura(My favourite) , Devang Nanawati, Abha Singh and R K Mishra.I have watched all the episodes so far and find Sanjiv Kaura to be very good and want him to win. After seeing the results of public voting on Sunday in TOI, i saw Sanjiv Kaura is trailing in public votes and i decided to campaign for him. As of now i have spokes to few people and initiated a campaign.All the best all contestants and i hope Sanjiv Kaura to win!.
